come Saturday Morning 6th March...
very very excited, nerves going wild, wake up at 6am
arrive at the track at 7am
get everything unloaded and the car warmed up as first Qualifying run is at 8:30am
Qualifying run #1 (car setup is same as best Heathcote run of 12.16 @123mph, 5850rpm 2step and 11psi boost in first gear with 15psi in 2nd, 3rd, & 4th)
nerves really bad,
my bro guides me into the water, burnout wasn't so bad
nerves settle,
stage up, lights start to flash...
2step engaged
lights go green,
clutch is out and away we go, massive bog off the line,
mis shift second
still manage a 12.7 @119mph with a 1.91 60ft
Qualifying run #2 @ around 9:30am (track is good, 6000rpm 2step launch with 15psi across all gears)
nerves are gone
burnout is much betta
launch is betta
shifts are good
11.95 @123mph
60ft is 1.86
finally break into the 11's (happiness all round)

so with all the excitement I, leave the car in the pit area and watch Pete's FWD NA PRO TOYOTA SCION make its first full pass since he owns it...
with a 3rd gear mis shift, it smashes the AUSTRALIAN NA FWD record and runs a 10.21 @ 137mph
Qualifying run #3 (setup stays the same)
again, nerves are sweet, happy with the cars performance,
bigger and betta burnout this time and off we go, perfect shifts
and wat to u know
11.88 @ 120mph
60ft is 1.85
we all sooo over the moon we happy to take the car home...

first round of dial ur own
I dialled in 11.75
great burnout
staged up (and from all the nerves this round, I forgot that u win this race at the lights...lol)
so a bad reaction time of .685
and the car I raced dialled in 11.00 and had a awesome reaction of .165
so we basically left the line together and he beat me by a bumper bar literaly
I ran 11.89 @123mph with a 1.87 60ft
