Ok so what you're saying is it's a reverse hill start up a very steep driveway? I still don't understand why you cant just apply the park brake when you stop, and wait for the car to release it as you start to release the clutch?
I've never tried that in mine in reverse, but I still reckon it would work. Happy to be proven wrong though. The hill start assist works when you haven't applied the park brake.
