Exhaust drone wagon

Just fitted ULTREX 3” sport mufflers to the 2.5” OEM exhaust. The car now produces way too much drone to the point others in the car are getting headache's. Anybody know of a fix?

First rule of exhaust club. Don’t talk about V6 exhaust mods.

Never think modified exhausts are cool on V6 Commodores. Any mod. You’ll just be that person in a car park that thinks it’s cool but the other 36 people think you’re a dick head.

Agree, never use aftermarket sports exhaust components on the V6.

Come on guys! He's a new member and only 18, give him a break.

His issue is exhaust flow potential increased, but the velocity slowed causing drone.
The solution is obvious. He needs to increase velocity.
And the easy solution is a V8 swap.

Or just admit that a sequential 6 with 'an exhuast' just sounds like a wet fart coming out of a dead cows a#$e and the drone is the extra bonus points caused by that effect.
