They swiftly were told to f#ck off as we are always getting scam calls. This guy rang back about 3 times and in the end turned phone off after giving him a big spray .

Hmmm, wasn’t aware of that.
Pretty sure that system uses wifi and is for Telstra only.Yeah, I knew a lady who had Boost and her phone didn't work. She was the one who pointed out to me I needed a new phone and that it had to be one able to have VOLTE capability.
These small towers scattered across Tasmania are basically a TV sized antenna stuck on the exchange. Their range is about 500-800m providing you have a fairly good line of sight.

A few years ago when I looked into cheaper prepaid plans for the kids mobiles I found most of the alternative retailers that ran on the Telstra network had in the small print that they used 'parts of the Telstra Network', or words to that effect.Hmmm, wasn’t aware of that.
Yep, that’s the ones who use the wholesale network. Boost and I believe Belong, have access to the whole retail network, and boost got access to 5G as of a few days ago……if that matters.I found most of the alternative retailers that ran on the Telstra network had in the small print that they used 'parts of the Telstra Network', or words to that effect.
