I used e10 once, noticed a slight drop in economy but not huge one. Wasn't worth the effort as it's only available at Gull in the upper north island in NZ so retuning to suit wouldn't be worth while.

So yes, the 10% E does reduce the fuel BTU's but then E is more knock resistant so in theory you can try a little more timing.

I would have thought E10 would be more power than 91? I only say that because the blokes running straight alcohol on their bikes make more power than if the same bike was running on 91 or even 98. Mind you jet your bike to allow an increase flow at WOT, 225% more than you would on 91 or 95.

I expect to get better fuel economy with 91ron compared to e10
So 138kms using 14.93L of 91ron.
Just on that small test, it is about 0.75km further per litre compared to e10.

If the gauge stays on full I believe that may suggest the connection to the fuel level sender may be broken.

Like I said earlier, if the gauge says full all the time it's either a loose or broken connection between the fuel level sender and the dash or the sender unit is stuffed.

Unfortunately my mother confiscated my magic wand back when I was a kid so can no longer perform magic tricks, so you'll either have to start looking for the problem or take it somewhere and pay lots of money for them to find the problem.
