If it's touching on the transmission cross member, the extractors are too far over to one side, not too high. If an engine mount was stuffed and the engine was leaning over, the extractors would touch the floor.

@NAAF
do you think (as one secondary is too short and is pulling the extractor) that placing one or two of those thick flange gaskets between the extractor-cat and cat-muffler will extend it enough to fix it? Does that sound viable?

Not really. Best to Modify the cat pipe so that the standard gasket is used.

When you say "secondary", so you mean the actual seconadry pipe of the extractors? Or the cat pipe?

Well it's a cat pipe.
Here's a photo, the red arrow is where it's rattling against the crossmember.

Ahhhh.....I see.....

It's just a hot dog, belt it in a bit to get clearance, won't affect it all.

Looking at the picture again, who ever made them up got the cats upside down as the sensors point in, not out. Try changing the cat pipes left to right to see if you get more clearance.

Do you have O2 sensors in the extractors as well?

HAHAHAHAHA yeah they've been installed upside down too :p the guy who I bought them off suggest to flip them to get better clearance.

Yeah have O2s in the extractors too, it's the DOHC 190kW Alloytec.
I need to get O2 sensor spacers (L shape) to try and rid my P0421 engine code anyway, if that fails, time for a tune.

She's running a little rough now too...

Quick question, do the rear O2 sensors just monitor the cat efficiency, or do they also affect the ECU fuel:air ratio?
I've been told some conflicting things by a few mechs and tuners.

Some say the P0421 (bad efficiency on rear O2 sensor) code simply just tells you the cats not efficient, some mechs tell me that it also impacts the fuel/air ratio, and therefore impacts fuel efficiency. I've not noticed any change in my L/100km though, nor the live fuel per 100km readout too.

Just the annoying check powertrain light since install

The rear O2 sensors need to be behind the cats. That's be why you are getting that error. They got them wrong way round too.

I just took a look at my old exhaust, mainly the cat pipes, the O2 sensors are before the cats, after the resonators, about half way down.

That's weird
