When i sold mine i still had discs and pads, taken off at 8000k's, very little wear, so they were a viable option for someone who wanted to change back to standard from Brembo but also for anyone due for new discs and pads , i can't remember what i did sell them for but it woulda been cheaper than a disc and pad change, they sold quite quickly from memory.

Someone who wants to upgrade V6 brakes would be after the V8 caliper bracket only. New calipers are so cheap online why bother with second hand?
(Apart from needing the bigger V8 discs of course).
Someone like me (ahem) would love to get hold of the brackets.

Payed $100 for mine to upgrade my SV6 to SS brakes. Have also seen them sell for $50.

They're not worth much, as you said, people upgrade to Brembos 99% of the time so these aren't a part that's going to appreciate
I paid $50 from a wrecker for a good pair of V8 front calipers a few months ago. V8 caliper brackets are specific but the caliper it's self are all the same through VE and VF, thousands out there!

yes local wreckers. Havent fitted them yet as have to get new rotors which dont seem cheap
I bought some standard RDA VF V8 rotors and were reasonably priced.
