I've run quicker times than gen f and gen f2 lsa powered hsv's, and fgx 's. Modifying a lsa or Miami v8 will get some massive numbers sure but it's gunna cost heaps more too

At WSID there is a never ending queue of LSA's and turbo Barras running low 10's and the organized ones are now in the 9's which is a whole universe away from 11.5. There is more than one stock bottom end, stock supercharger, stock driveline GTS in the 9's now, they are not crazy expensive builds.

The ones you are beating come straight from doing burnouts outside the 7/11 on cooked Nexen tyres and are there to have fun with their mates. The euro hatches are also running 11's now on factory tyres with a tune, unopened motors, 11 is the new 12.

A lot of FI HSV's and FPV's may only run mid 11's but trap around 130mph, so easy 10's with MT's.

hey guys just seeing if anyone would know witch cam would be better for street/strip . car is 2016 vf2 ss ute auto and want to sitck with stock stall, i have a pretty good understanding of how camshafts work and how the specs of a cam changes the performance . first is the LSR 269 HR12 219. 227. 607. 614. 112LSA ... or LSR 273 HR12 223. 231. 610. 617. 112LSA
I think both these will be a pig to drive on 112lsa and stock stall. You’ll need at least 114lsa. Mine pushed annoyingly with 224/232 580/590 on 114lsa so i stalled it and was like chalk n cheese

Nah Dude. Latest sprint 8 is making over 360 at the tyres stock. 400 can be achieved even without exhaust. A cammed car just isnt in the race....

Ford have crap cars for technology but the 6 turbo and 8 supercharged are killer cars.
the limiting factor with the xr8 sprint is the transmission input shaft. Easily broken once the miami is tweeked and expensive to repair / upgrade.
