Heater and aircon actuator

Hi all
I have a ve 2011 ss s2 commdore
My aircon and heater doesn’t change over to face or foot and is stuck on front window.
I have purchased 2x actuator and 1st replaced the drivers side and after having a look inside the old one it was damaged.
Still don’t work so I would try and look at the passenger side and replaced that one too. The old was was not damaged but I replaced it anyways .
It’s still stuck on front windscreen.
I am so lost right now lol.
Anyone else had issues like this and knows what else I can do?
