I'm removing the instrument panel carrier (The big frame behind the crash pad)
All the harness is attached to it and doesn't need to be removed from the carrier.

I'm stuck on how the fuse panel in the passenger foot well unplugs and is removed and also the drivers foot well connectors.

I have attached an image from a FB Auto Electrician.
I take my hat off to them.

I can see doing this job a few times, you would get good at it. You'd be grumpy, but good at it.

Does anyone know how the plugs disconnect?
Does anyone have some workshop manual info?
Does anyone have good old fashioned experience?

This is the fuse panel in the passangers footwell. This comes out. I figured out how the main harness plug attaches. Easy enough. The rear loom goes into the back of the fuse panel.

Please tell me there is a plug to separate it.

How do I undo the cable tie so i dont bugger it up?

How does the fuse panel detach?

Hi on my vt, when taking out the hvac, only removed the dash pad, centre console, & front seats. Undid 4 bolts in the engine bay 3 in the cabin. 2 of the bolts in the cabin secured hvac to top of dash. Undo hose clamps & disconnect the hoses for heater. Undo the bolts for the tx valve & disconnect. I think that was about it.
Those pictures, you've shown, they stay in the car. At least with the vt, they do.
Have a look & see if the hvac is moveable. If so try & wriggle it out.
Tape the wiring looms to the windscreen, to get them out of the way. Only if that helps.
I didn't tape the looms. There wasn't that many.

Thanks for the info Lex.
In the VE, they come out. It’s an entirely different set up to previous models.

The manual says to remove (with no info on how)

Thanks to this Auto Electricians work, I'm using the photos as a forensic guide.
You can see the fuse panel is removed, but how?

This is the fuse panel attached to the lower left side of instrument carrier frame.

Enhance. Enhance. Enhance.
A full 8 pixels here.

There are clips/tangs that need to be unclipped at the top, bottom and sides of the fuse panel carrier (white plastic box the fuse panel is clipped into.)

They need to be unclipped all at the same time, or if done one by one the unclipped ones have to be held out until all are unclipped.
