Well there is already a VT V6 turbo, in street trim, pulling a 9.6 @143 MPH running 28psi, no nos, no transbrake, ebay cooler, TA45 turbo and C6 fuel, with IRS end.

YouTube - Heathcote Drags (this run did a 9.8 same car though)

This car will be going out again shortly with a thicker 4 inch cooler more boost and some other tweaks, I dare say it will run a low 9

Koo's car is an even more developed build so I dare say it will run an 8 if nothing breaks. If I had to guess this would be a figure he'd have in mind.

mmm, when you get under 10seconds, every thousandth of a second gets hard.

A thicker cooler and more boost isn't going to drop a second.

what a bunch of tossers. you guys have no idea what a V6 can do and what they have done in the past.

maybe some of you should do some research. just to clarify, each one of those snails is rated at 525hp and he's got 2 and if he gets bored with that then there is plenty of NOS to party with.

looking at the way the VT launches with the M90 combo i think he's got it figured out fairly well

keep telling me more and more the car won't run an 8 that just gives me more motivation to do it:boxing: but in saying that it will be the ultimate goal and a long way down the track. got to crawl before you can walk and walk before you can run

    Nice one Cuckoo.

I have a soft spot for a certain streamliner bike in the US that has set a world record with a , wait for it, 50cc 2 stroke at 152mph......... that is a massive achievement . To all you small dick guys out there slagging V6's what are ya gonna do when someone parks next to you with a big block?....it's irrelevant what you start with, it's what you do with it.

Anyone in the 9's with a V6 is someone to respect.

As for those saying it's a waste of money? welcome to the real world ..everything, everything is a waste of money...."Ya could have put a deposit on a house"

bahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha .......buy a Clubbie, keep it for 18months, sell it ....bye-bye house deposit.

Anyway , I'll see ya down the bowls club and we can talk about house prices and prostate cancer....

Once again, ****-hot Cuckoo , VT with 'glide, 'kin ace!

Hey, I never said it will NEVER run an 8. I just don't see it happening as the car is.
Full credit due for what you've achieved already don't get me wrong. But people always start getting a carried away with things like this. It run a low 10 yeah?
I predict a mid to low 9 now, if it hooks up.

^ your an idiot depending on the weight of the car the other vt ran a 143mph which is good for 9.3 et you think this one wont drop .4 with his car? your on drugs keep rebuilding stock buicks cause you clearly have no idea.

When it happens I'll be the first to congratulate him.

I know how hard it is to drop that much time once you get under 10seconds. If he does it then great, not saying it wont happen. I'm just not holding my breath.
You can't compare one car to another in this spectrum. This car hasn't even run yet. The gearbox isn't in it!!!

I've never claimed to be a V6 expert.
But even with V8's and turbo jap cars, the principle is still the same. Power is by no means everything.

What's to say it wont spin up off the line?
It would only take a little.
As I said, not impossible. But I doubt it'll do it out of the box as it is.

(Getting sick of everyone having to lick arse hole around here)

Not sure if you're aware of this but this car hasn't just been down the track a few times. It's a family sedan that's had alot of time spent developing it over 5-7 years (not sure there).

It will spin up off the line and will probably spin past half track with most rubber you can fit on a street car too. The driver will be the one to keep all that under wraps.

Like you say, under a 10 second run it's hard to gain time. This car ran low 10s with a heavily worked P.O.S. charger. Now it has 2 of the best turbos for the set up going and NOS. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I'm not licking arse like you say as I don't know these blokes but have a look at the set up before you go n say "$100 it won't do whatever". Have you ran 8s yet?

I know the car has been run down the 1/4 quick. Never doubted it.
But there's a big difference between running 10.3 with stock suspension and running an 8.9.

I've never owned an 8second car. Helped a really close mate build one though. Like I said, I know how hard it is after you go sub 10second.

8's is definatly gona be a hard fought battle. . but it will **** in 9's with in its first hand half a dozen outings.

getting the car to hook up is going to be the biggest battle,
and when the car is hooking up well, getting the rear end to hold together is going to be the next battle.

i have seen this car go from 12's then koo wanted to run 11's and he did that. . then he said he wanted to run 10's with an M90, and everyone laughed at him. . but he did it (10.7 to be exact)
now he said he wants to run 9's and possibly 8's. .
trust me, and any one who knows Koo will agree. . if he wants to do something. . he f*uckin well will!. . lol

it was alot harder to get this car to do 11's then it was to do 10's. . 9's it will **** in. . but 8's im predicting a year or 2 b4 she can do that. . but like i said. . he wants it,. . it'll do it

Hey Soop I know I'm late with this one but no I'm not comparing this to an Enzo. Take the Enzo any day of the week, I was just thinking out loud
because people were saying why put so much money into an ecotec, you build/buy the car you want within your means, and it just so happens that
in a straight line this beast would be way quicker than an Enzo.
