ok heres the plan i went to a building site an borrowed somoe pipeing lol an making the pipe i then will if it works out buy some heat proof piping from auto shop but the way i wanna do it i wanna run it not close to engine or raditator soooooooo illl let u all no i love diy to there great iv done many trial an error hahahahah thanks boys

I have cut out the 90mm hole with chisel, blade, tin snips and a soldering iron.
That is all i have done because i am waiting to swipe some pipe off a job site. Already it has more power just with the hole and you can hear it sucking, so before the car would have been choking for air.

haha i remember reading this thread ages ago when it was like one page long.

makes me think i should have a go now and represent the VS community, i wouldnt mind trying flexible radiator coolant pipe and the small hole in the acclaim bar... cheers Stretch

Interested to see if any warpage occurs from heat....

If any one is concerned, here is mine 9 months down the track... travelling approx 100kms a day. Being supercharged, the engine runs a little hotter, and has pulleys/belts closer to the pipe than a regular v6.

What it looked like first fitted is on page 2, post #32.

i asked some guy and he said the more air you use the more fuel you will use, so they both cancel each other out. is this true?
