my parents' vr has done 173,XXX. got it regassed and changed the heater tap two weeks ago. power steering pump, seal, and i think the rack where changed at about 148,XXX. at 150,XXX the fuel pump said goodbye, at about 160,XXX the alternator said goodbye, ignition barrel completely screwed at about 165,XXX, the key kept turning in the barrel, we couldn't turn the engine off, and teh engine was on for about 2 hours before a locksmith came down to change the barrel, haha. overall, it's been a great car, i love it, and can't wait to buy my own commodore one day. for a big old 93 model commodore, i find that the ride quality is still great.

have a nice day people :)

My trusty 94 VR S2 Berlina spat its 150000 kilometer old reco 'box last week with 3446728 km on the clock.
The engine is a tad sad and has a few more oil leaks than I would like. Was hoping to get it to atleast 350000. Too many issues to repair so baught a VS berlina with 133000 on the clock, still feels like a brand new car

S1 L67 VS Calais & Datsun 120Y
G'day lads

Your not going to believe me but its true. I bought a 1995 VS Calais bout 3 months ago, it had only done 62000kms. I am now up to 67000kms. The car was owned by a 90 year old man who couldnt drive it much due to illness. The car is brand new in everyway.

Lucky catch
