i was going to attempt this myself today but i decided against it , i went around to my local mechanic and booked it in 154 bucks i already had shocks and springs though.....great how to, all you need to know on one page
i just got the front done today at a shop it sits nice there but the back is sitting up higher for some reason the front and back were suppose to be 40mm lower now its sittin like a hotrod , looks like im going to have to go lower in the back now
always happens, thats why ive always had to cut springs, i have superlows on the front and ultras on the rear and it only just sits flat, i like my ass down just a tad
yer i remember when i did my front i was like.. thats not low enough(because i had cut springs in it prior) and now the front is so slammed that my tyres wear out on the guards!. im just waiting till my backs sink a lil before i start chopping.. ive got my fuel tank full, my subs in and my towbar on loll
Removing my front superlows from the VN.. will I need a spring compressor?
I have a lower set of springs to go in... so low they don't have a brand or part number
i put my ultra lows in with no compressor, its easier to take lowered springs out without a compressor than stock. depends on your shocker inserts, if theyre stock they extend out enough for the spring to depress yeh.
