Awesome Lex, I know you didn't draw it, but that is one impressive engineering drawing. I turned in assessments at TAFE that weren't anywhere near that standard.

Lets us know, how you go, if you go ahead with the change.

A few years ago l had only drove my car with cruise control. Then l drove a vy with cc. I wasn't overly impressed with the vy cc.
I prefered the vt cc.

Here's a weird coincidence. Was just looking at 3D printer files online and wasn't even searching for this, but look what came up: a cancel cam for a VS that you can 3D print.

What was different between them? Surely they both do the same thing?
Of course they both do the same thing.

You have a vx, thats the same as the vy.

Vr - vt are different in operation. With vr - vt when you get to the speed you want to cruise at, You push a button.

With vx - vy when you get to cruise speed, you flip a lever? I think thats the right word for it. I've only driven 1 vy.

You may prefer the vx - vy operation?

VX SEDAN...AND A VE TOO!
I've got a couple of donor cars, but their stalks don't match - the VT has cruise control. One donor car does, one doesn't. The one that does though, is a VX and they changed the cruise control function from a push button in the VT to a twist in the VX. Can you replace a push button VT one with a twist VX one? I don't know if the little connections are the same. Anyone ever tried?
They changed the stalk design for the Series II VX...I have a Series I and it has the same stalk as the VT I had prior...and the VS before that...come to think of it...I had Cruise fitted to a VR Wagon I bought in 1998...and it had the exact same Blinker Stalk...am now driving a VE which has the same style as the Series II VX...and it is one P.O.S.!!

The VR - VX was a much better design...
