Be good if one could be added to a VE.

aftermarket is the go there.

It’s installed how it would have been from factory so I think it’s just the fact my car doesn’t have a HUD specific windscreen.

probably, i'd say you are getting a double reflection so that little sheet i was referring to earlier would stop it and the second reflection wouldn't happen i guess.

For anyone interested I got the HUD installed today and all works and looks mint, took me probably about 6 hours over 2 days, mostly because I was doing it while trying to keep an eye on 3 young children. It was pretty straight forward and only ending up splicing into 2 of the wires in the dash loom. Unfortunately I didn’t take many photos of the progress, once I got to reassembling everything I completely forgot to. As for it working on the windscreen it works fine, has a little bit of double vision but nothing major.
I could do a step by step if anyone is interested or feel free to ask any questions if you need some guidance/advice on doing it yourself.

Out of interest have you tried looking at it the way it is while wearing sunnies/polaroids??

Tried this today and surprisingly it does make quite a difference, pretty much no double up at all wearing sunnies.

happy for you to fly me up, let me know when ;)

Are the ones that just plug into the OBDII plug any good? Thinking about one for my VX as they claim to be able to read and reset codes as well.

Hmm now that there is a detailed step by step, those photos don't scare me anymore :p
Yeah I probably did go a bit to detailed but thought the more detail the more likely others would see that it’s really not that scary and give it a crack. I did quite enjoy doing this entire install.

Edit: Nevermind, I'd lose the screws haha
I thought the same but zip lock sandwich bags come in very handy and I didn’t lose anything
