My main issue for now is sorting the key, to fix the crank issue. Not bothered about locking the door with the key. But trying to spend as little as possible, hence hoping it can be built up? I don't want to have a key cut the same as my worn out one. But don't want to pay Motors 130 bucks for a $15 key just to get a code either. I like the idea of getting one cut to the same as original if it can be done using my worn out one.

Not sure how you will go getting a new keyhead paired to your car as part of the procedure is to lock and unlock doors with the remote.

I used to have a local locksmith who could read the code off the key.
But to get back to your original problem: "Intermittent No Crank" have you looked at your neutral safety switch?

Yepp in the original post i said everything i have replaced, which is everything besides the key. Playing with the key, turning it right off and on again always gets it working. Sometimes pushing the key in the barrel a bit more helps as well.

How did they read the code off the key, Rob? Is there numbers on it somewhere?
