I burn Power but it did not come from the Grid. WOW Imagine tilting a Quality LCD LED like the above cheapees. Most Companies that has Super expensive TV has a SHOCK and TILT METER and if you get a Expensive tv that has this feature stick on the sides of the Box and if activated ever but a shock or excess tilt "RED not GREEN" you tell the deliver guy I DONT WANT IT as you or someone has damaged to tv.
Yes OLEDS are good the quality one are even better that has a wide colour gamut and other but OLED fain in one area. PEAK BRIGHTNESS. You luck to get 900 nit at 10% window. Even the Best Ever OLEDs that you cant get in Australia scatch around 1600-1800 nit with large heatsinks but they have a limiters ABL (Automatic Brightness Limiter). Soon the Top Emmission OLED will come out but at the same time we will have at the same time Micro LEDs 2024 CES .I don’t think a $700 set does the same job.
Although the set in question isn’t an OLED, have you seen what an OLED screen does? They are amazing in terms of dynamic range - black-blacks and white-whites at the same time. They are also very fast displays. It’s hard to explain in words, but the difference is about the same as going from black-and-white television to colour-television. The OLEDs add an enormous increase in colour range and resolution.
We had friends visit us soon after we purchased our OLED (about 7 years ago). They were so impressed that they bought one on their way home. They are that different.
EDIT I forgot to mention that HDR content is needed. So HDR Netflix (or similar) and 4K HDR Blu-ray discs (and player) is the way to go.
We are all Different and like different things. I like Cars, Best Threatre setups, 4K movies, and Some Music. We dont go our much, we have a Conformable home to live in a our pets keeps us at home but the difference with me I have over 5000 channels to watch on our Satellite tv Set up. never bored, never. You obviously must love TV to spend that much on a screen and surround sound. Me I'm considered well off but not well off enough to spend that kind of coin on something that I wouldn't appreciate. I'll stick to my six year old Hisense and other old tech. I'd rather a new motor for the boat or something else that gets me active rather than sit and watch TV when there is nothing much worth watching anyway.
