During covid our members were able to work through solely through the efforts of the CFMEU and in particular due to the assistant state secretary. He would liaise with Jeannette Young who at the time was chief health officer phoning her up to 10pm. Had it not been through the efforts of the union our members could not have worked. The Courier Mail wouldn't have mentioned that.
