Their gear as per the link all looks pretty reasonable for blokes with heaps of money. If I lived in the UK with heaps of cash I'd buy a bloody great historical country mansion and half a dozen cars too.

apparently , the three of them were due to sign new contracts until 2018 , this could be their way out , I could understand them not wanting too , but this is an extreme way of dissolving the relationship with the Beeb

Always makes me smile , when they call the Holden HSV a Vauxhall , with no acknowledgement of its Australian roots .

Ummm ... I've seen them present the car twice (second time was an updated version or whatever). They DID make a big thing about its Australian roots!

Seems there is a lot of bad blood between Clarkson and a senior BBC idiot who it seems will use any excuse to try and get rid of him.

I don't think the shows producer is the major issue, it's the idiot further up the food chain.

News report also say that Clarkson reported the incident himself......

It's a bloke called Danny Cohen who wants him gone , I think Jeremy Clarkson is a complete nob end , but he does make the show , in its current format I reckon Top Gear as we know it is over .

Yeah, he is a knob (quoting Captain Slow) but he makes the show. Without Clarkson it would be like watching Aussie Top Gear
