Have you had the engine fired up yet?
If so, how did it sound?
Sadly not yet, trying to find someone to do my engine harness

Started to do my power wires. Measured out the power and earth cables for the battery, starter motor cable is made up just need to tuck it up nicely so it’s not hanging low. Found a nice earth spot on the block and attached the cable to it just need to put the terminal clap on the battery end. While running the cables I was thinking bout how inconvenient it would be if I ever needed to jump start as the battery is low, center of car ,covered by a hatch and box. Would make it a pain to line a car up ti run leads… but then an idea hit… let’s do what some new cars do and have a positive terminal post in the bay. And here is how it turned out. Wiring is abit of a mess and not finished but will clean it up to the best of my ability.

Tuesday: went around after work to drop off the back wheel so he has something to go off when folding my wheel arch. He has also finished pushing the dents out of my passenger door and sanded back smooth with out the use of bog.

I was let in to have a look at the my tail gate and hard lid as he already painted them and it looks stunning, even tho it hasn’t been wet sanded yet.

Some photos of the progress before Christmas. Doors and guards stripped off, sanded down doors and guards while the body guy added new metal to my passenger guard due to rust

In the new year, sadly due to the wiring not being done at all we didn’t rush to get the car painted so we took a brake before Christmas and my mate has continued working on it while I am at the summer nats. Doors and guards are hifill primer, he has started to sand down my passenger rear quarter and has found rust and dodgy fix where body filler has just been piled on so in for a lot more hours of reshaping the body

While he was sanding the passenger rear quarter he has found rust and a previous repair where body filler was just slapped on.
