Holden sells almost identical set for VE V8 for about $60. Go figure. Part numbers are different

I went through radiator replacement in April this year and went eBay plastic special. Fitted up fine and not leaking (yet).

I didn't bother going with OEM thinking they'd just leak again in 5-6 years. I paid $255 for my eBay special .. so under half of OEM cost.

$300 for labour (which also including changing the harmonic balancer as I also got a Powerbond balancer and ARP bolt done at the same time) and $70 for Dexcool.

I wonder why holden decided to use this system compared to 2 simple hoses. Just additional points where coolant can leak. I can see some of that orange coolant residue on one of them so best to replace when I am doing the radiator anyway...
