Maybe sit down and watch the end of the gc vs hawks game.

Steering rack bolts are quite hearty. I highly doubt you would brake one.

I'm hoping that because the Pacies have a second flange in the rear collector I may be able to get the pipes past without lowering the rack.

Try the large diameter pacies on a V8.
I had to drop steering and crossmember to put pipes up from the bottom.

Yeah, I don't know if I would want to tackle a V8, V6 is bad enough.... At least on the Buick you one easy side. I shouldn't complain most people would be on their backs fitting new headers. At least I can stand up.

Got the passenger side no worries. Had to stop trying to get the headers through on the drivers side before I cracked it... Seems like the brake line is getting hooked up on the heater hoses and tap. Really don't want to undo the hose clamps because I have finally got the leaks sorted and removing a hose could create another leak as it has before.

The prob I have had is once the clamp squishes the hose it never seems to seal properly if you refit the hose without cutting the end off.
Undone the tap nut now and can move it out of the way. Bastards are still getting hung up and it's looking like I need to remove the tierod end and maybe the steering shaft to get the headers past. I have asked the question in another thread because I'll have to hit the nut on the TRE with a hammer as I have no one to help lean on a crow bar while I hit the side, plus I don't have a crow bar, nor do I have a TRE remover.

How far from Launceston are you?
Game is an example of how to kick lots of behinds. From both teams.

Right now I am about 90km away from UTAS Stadium.
