spewin bout the defect....its cop bait straight up.
I ran the gauntlet with filter poking out for 12mths then decided to fit the SS scoop before my luck ran out.
Im surprised they didn't sting you for a structural defect on the bonnet bracing.

Id fit the reverse scoop, fit a 14x2" filter and then fit a 2" spacer under the carb.

Twin 2,5" exhaust with straight through mufflers. youll get that sound for sure, a mate runs a twin 2.5 on his hq with 308 and sounds pretty good.
Ive just fitted a twin 3" to mine, my build thread has plenty of detailed pics if you wana get an idea all those exhaust pics are on the last page of the thread http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/vb-vc-vh-vk/163704-vh-sl-e-355-a-32.html

Definitely cop bait, like I said, it was only a matter of time.
2.5" twins seems the most likely at the moment, been trying to find some good YouTube vids to get an idea of what it might sound like but nothing beats hearing it in person.
Will check out your thread, thanks for the tips mate.
