Yeah. I was just thinking if i smoked them it would become illegal because the Berlina has the reflectors in the tails and i don't know if they would work properly if they are smoked. As i said, we'll see what happens next when i get the money:thumbsup:
Gday mate not sure if you have tinted ur tail lights yet eh but i removed my tail lights and tinted them when i bought my Vy S. I purchased a product called Night shades from Autobarn and there is enough in the can to do your car and two of your mates cars.

good start mate, that was like my first car

i got the 1:1.97 rockers they go hard :)

bit of advice tho, and i got told it heaps too, dont go too mental on a v6
i learnt the hard way

i had a VY S2 V6, bought it for 15k
spent 12 grand on it
sold it a year later for 13k to get the VZ SS ute

you don't get anywhere near the same power/torque or return on investment that an 8 will.

enjoy it by all means, but you will want an 8 eventually

the raptor kits are rubbish, good for like 170rwkw but you spend like 7 grand to get them running, for 4k you can buy a crate LS1 :)

anyway man sorry to bring the mood down, again congrats on the car, just be sensible :)

Thanks mate. I'm not really looking into huge performance. More for interior looks and exhaust sound. I doubt I will get anything more than the exhaust system and rockers.

Also remember DUK13Y that all of our comments are opinions only :)

and for about $5500 you can have the raptor kit. If you have a decent exhaust/extractors and the high ratio Roller rockers you will put out closer to 220rwkw's

As for the Ls1 that is a good choice too, but it will be closer to the 7-8k mark by the time it has been installed, new loom ecu etc :) But it does have a lot more potential for working it later.

You have plenty of time to work out what you want, for when you finally get your unrestricted licence.
