So, what are peoples thoughts on removing the mudflaps/guards and a smooth intake from aluminium or silicone piping?

Bleg car is making squeaky sounds again in the low revs. Around 2k it's fine, and then anything above 3k revs it makes a fairly loud sound... like the belt sliding on something, a vvvvvvvv sorta sound. I'm thinking it's the ps pump starting to stuff around again. Anybody have an idea for a quote to fit my new one in?
I have a brand new one right here

Replaced the PS pump yesterday. The old one had a LOT of play in the pulley, obviously the belt was slipping and sliding, should explain both sounds I heard beforehand.
At the moment I just need more fluid to fill the pump because all of mine and the conditioner I had was sucked up instantly haha, so the car is making some noisy turning sounds.
Other than that, no updates, I want to get her a major service for 200,000km
Any suggestions on where to go?
Looking at;
-Trans service
-Diff service
-General service (filters, oil replacement)
-Safety and inspection, electrical and whatnot

Want to get my o2 sensors replaced and fuel pump put in too, trying to get some good fuel economy, still sitting around 15L/100km :(

Well power steering is now working fine :)
Got a quote of approx $650 to do a major service + fuel pump with diff and trans service.
Seems okay but going to get more soon.
Autobahn seems cheap, maxi service C for $800 which is basically everything
I'm not keen on doing it myself, maybe the oil filter and oil, but that's it really

Just wanted to say
Holy **** steering feels good. Also the car takes off more nicely now (The pulley was wobbly as hell, so think it was stuffing with the serpentine belt/fanbelt)
Got paid today but not sure if I can afford the service just yet, maybe one or two things for now :)

Well I think I have come to a decision....
I'm only going to pay for repairs for this car, any money I can I plan on saving.
A L67 VY would be nice but I want a cruisy 6, maybe a VY with low k's or a sidi VE later on, not fond of the alloytecs.
Once that's done, this will be the project/weekender
