What you need is a second set. Then you can take your time to do them spic!

Finally got around to putting the headlight covers on. I like em.

They match in nicely with the red in the grill and s-pack trim molding and the blue of the WA plates.

Added some SS decals to the Ute, as it’s pretty much an SS by everything but name. I think they go well with the full red stripe.

Always had a big soft spot for VR/VS utes and if I had the room, id buy one in a heart beat. Mik you already know I love this thing. Great example of one and an awesome buy.




not to hijack Miks thread but im the lucky bloke that was able to purchase the Caprice. Definitely had a few gremlins that left the car stalling and me stranded not being able to start the car, the hardest being replacing the dizzy - but one night me and the boys tackled it and got it done. Now it sits under 2 car covers in the shed haha.

Has this car been featured on any car magazines? I've seen the "SHYGMH" plates before...

Question for the brains trust. Is there any difference between the S-PAC and the SS seats on a series 2 VS? Trying to match some pics and it looks like the patterns and the seats themselves are almost identical, except the SS has the SS embroided into the seats. I was looking at trying to get some SS seats for the Ute, but wondering if it’s worth it if there’s almost no difference?
