Hey hoping someone can give me a hand my vy ss electricals cut out when at high rpm for example my Speedo\rpms stop working for a couple seconds abs and battery light turn on and traction kicks in but it only all cuts out for a couple of seconds after the rpm’s get to high I was thinking a faulty alternator but if it was wouldn’t my battery start going flat? Was hoping someone had a idea or a solution on what’s going on thanks.

throw a multimeter on it when at high rpm and see what voltage you get
then decide

If it is overcharging is there any other way to fix it other then replacing it

A VY 5.7 should store a code if it's over or under charging. I'd start with a scan. You can also use diagnostic mode to monitor the voltage, give it the beans and see what numbers you get before it cuts
