That colour looks amazing in your pics, but I've seen two, SSV redline and a new Clubsport R8 in this colour in the flesh, and I was less than impressed. Looked dull and dreary

VF series 2 ssv Redline
Hey,

Great car, love the colour. My partner and I are picking ours up this Wednesday except ours is Red with the black roof.
Any chance you know where we could download the user manual, would love to have a read of it before we pick it up.

Thanks

Enjoy the car :)

If you've already got a s1 VF the manual is the same.

Strange that they were dull in colour, sure it wasn't perfect blue? as mine is pretty eye catching especially in the sun.

User manual is the same as the series I, but you can download the brochure from Holden's website, which outlines the differences.

No VF2 in perfect blue. They were slipstream and a bit dull.

I've decided I'm sold on the blue though, sat down with sales yesterday and will be placing an order in the near future :)

Perfect blue was terrible, a nasty flat blue. The new slipstream has a shitload of metallic in it and really pops.

Slipstream much better than Perfect Blue but still needs the right light to set it off like most of the latest colours. Older colours like Voodoo, Poison Ivy and Sizzle looked stunning in all light conditions.

Those rims a gun metal grey? Was that something you had changed?
