MY17 VF SSV Redline Audio

hi all

Just wanted to know what the audio is like in the MY17 Redline sedans, picking mine up on Tuesday, I have heard the stereos aren't that great, what's everyone's else's experience?

i went auto because the wife needs to drive it and she cant drive manual.
No issues with mine, and in sports mode with total control via paddle shifters is good

of course it will be slightly slower then the manual if that matters at all to you, but then driving around in city traffic all day, i think you may be glad to have the auto

the audio sucks, sound is fairly crap

I think the bose stereo is quite good. In the sedan it is anyway.

no highs no lows, its got to be BOSE

i have the sedan, and no sorry, nothing good about the sound in that stereo, i will be swapping it out very quickly with aftermarket products.

Its leaps and bounds better than the Blaupunkt junk I had in my VE Calais, but like all oem systems it leaves a lot to be desired.
I might upgrade mine one day, but with a beautiful V8 soundtrack, who needs music.

I'm not a huge car audio guy but agree with some others- it sucks!
Benefit is listening to that sweet exhaust crackle and pop
