yes everyone has diferent ways and yes its good to hear the different ways ppl do things
the prob is the bitching started right back at the beginning and the post i was refering to was deleted ages ago and then everyones jumped on borad with their 2 bobs worth
then it snowballed from there
as for other ppl who arent installers i cant see how they can coment but its good to see other installers coments

Earth - Brown
Ignition - Grey
Illumination - Green

LF + Pink
LF - Purple
RF + light green
RF - blue
LR + Black
LR - Yellow
RR + Red
RR - White

most of this is correct (speakers)

but i have these colours

2 plugs (13 wires)

1st plug is white
it has; pink, purple, blue, green

2nd plug is blue
it has; pink, purple, blue, green, white with black stripe, black, grey, green, blue with yellow stripe

would it be possible that the four doors and two door models have different wiring cause this is a 2 door,

use the wires everyone says
blue/yellow is actually the 12v supply not just plain blue
the other wires you wont need
white with black trace can earth on some models and electic ant on other models
if it has a brown in it thats the earth and not the white/black
