Yeah I will fit the relay on the opposite my link setting. When the car starts it always has the valves open and they stay open until I physically press the off button. It is the automotive lighting customs module.

Hi all,

Had a search and happy to be steered into one which provides the answer.
Have an LS3 Calais wagon with plenty of fruit (Magnuson 2300 etc).
I’ve taken out the VCM Cam, 1 7/8 headers with a complete 3 “ and put in LSA spec Cam and full exhaust. The exhaust has BI modal and hate the minimal noise where the valves close under low rpm range with bi modal on. I have removed the relay to have the valve gates open permanently etc. I want to have an individual switch (not through my link) to open or close the valves so in 4am starts it can be easily done (not plugging in a relay each time).
Anyone been able to do this without doing a Varex etc as yet?

i have a similar set up to you (Magnuson, VCM 5sc cam, and same exhaust system that you had).

Why did you choose to go down the LSA route ?

Hi there,
The gent I bought it off got done (EPA) etc and it had to be passed so in went the LSA spec gear. I drive this daily around Sydney from job to job and everywhere in between. I just like the daily drive aspects of it as it can be whisper quiet on e freeway with valves closed, quiet as a 6cylinder lol. It still pulls a nice 410rwkw and over a 1000Nm. Actually spoke with Sonny from Autowerks today just to discuss a few options down the track. It’s running minimal boost and is just doing it easy. Has Higgins heads etc. So all being good , will be ready for some performance love down the track.
