It's an extremely common issue so the symptoms are well documented, the gaskets are pretty much a consumable. The only alternative is that it's something worse like a blown head gasket or a much bigger oiling system problem, but there would be other symptoms associated with those.

The only other way I could see of identifying it is doing a leakdown test or a cooling system pressure test.

You could try and see if the LIM bolts are not tight. They can sometimes lose tension when the gaskets fail. But like mentioned just above it is extremely common.

You could compression test to see if the head gaskets are leaking. But its pretty uncommon for Ecos to have head gaskets leak. If it was a Ford grey top well then head gasket problems are a no-brainer.

Is there anyway to check that the inlet manifold gasket, has failed ?.

Yes, having a milkshake in the radiator,
Well, a carrot milkshake I had in my radiator,
and flush it few times to get the gunk out, then put a radiator cleaner in one of the radiator flushes, and that should get most of it out.

I bought a Pressure Tester Kit [full Kit], because I though, that there is a leak,
but mine held pressure to at least 14Lbs,
But alas, no it didn't indicate a leak.
