Replaced thermostat, water pump, heater tap, top and bottom radiator hoses, serpentine belt, flushed and back flushed block, radiator and heater core. All flowing clear, filled with coolant and bled system.Even replaced spark plugs. No evidence of coolant in sump. Still overheating, where to from here.

Test water flow? Maybe the new thermostat is cactus out of the package?

What have you tested?

Did you change the radiator cap with the correct type?

Sounds like there is air trapped in the system ?
Or air is getting reintroduced into the system? Has the LIM gaskets been replaced? If not, that maybe where the air is getting reintroduced into the system?

how are you deciding it is overheating
by gauge or by symptoms
was it overheating before this work
or since you changed something
overheating when idling or at highway speeds
