This. It would be money pisssed-up against the wall. People buy cars at the Holden (low) end of the market primarily on price ...
Yet Holden spend millions in advertising to try and sell cars nobody wanted but doesn’t advertise the imported variants that people may have bought if they knew about them? Then they try an expensive but ultimately abortive process of branding Opel, wasting millions in the process.

Heck, a Mylink update is trivial in cost and you could build a lot of good will with it.

But Holden are like a ship without a rudder, floundering in rough seas, whipping their deck hands to improve the situation.

You can write to HCC and voice your disapointment that Holden hasn't updated the MyLink firmware to remove Pandora app from within. You can also voice your disatisfaction that Holden doesn't offer an option to upgrade teh VF MyLinK to provides AA/ACP as Mazda has done for some of its custiomers.

Will it make a difference? Not if only one person writes in but maybe if a portion of the 60,000 VF owners voice their disapointment.

After all, didn't public pressure stop Holden from ditching the V8 lineup some decades ago?
The goverment imposing immision reg deadlines without adequate timeframes or subsidy for reserch and development to comply left GMH little hope not to be fined, subsequently the 5 litre RIP and introduction of the indepth emmisions researched 5.7 litre powerhouse to provide holden customers with the efficient vehicles we now drive. Is a Pandora app such a dissapointment, considering it is a music feature not a mechanical saftey issue...

Looking after your customer has a multitude of benefits, one of which is repeat business. Look after them and they are likley to come back. Disregard them or don’t support the product they purchased and these customers are almost certain to desert your brand.

Seriously? There is nothing in the lineup (camaro included) that would entice many VF owners back, unless they are looking for a completely different car. That's the ducks guts of it.

Reality is Holden CBF

And why should they be? Their focus is on surviving rather than pandering to the whims of people who bought a couple or more years ago. You're probably one of the only ones who cares about the pandora icon. As someone else said, move it onto the second page. There are bigger fish to fry, as Holden is obviously trying to do.

For mine - I wouldn't even know what the pandora icon looks like, it's that insignificant.

Perhaps you should apply for a job in their product planning or marketing department? You obviously know more about how to sell cars than them. Do you honestly think that they have glossed over these potential sales juggernauts in favour of their more modest offerings?

You mention Opel !!! You have little understanding of how important Opel is to GMH and the success created within both companies. You are seriously having a fart in mouth experience.

The opel Commodore has Mylink with AA/AC so seems like we missed the boat already.

If someone wants to type up a professional email template to send on through go ahead. I would but can barely form words let alone sentences.
