- 12" JL Audio Sub
- Kicker Monoblock Amp
- 6" JL Audio Splits (front)

Ok, update and new pics:)

Fitted the Type R 12, and some Clarion coaxials in the rear.
I also bought a small Cadence 50x2 amp, (mini me i've been calling it) which at some point i will be connecting to the rears. If it sounds crap from the drivers seat, i'll just fade to the front all the way, unless i have passengers then i can switch back..I plan on buying another Type R sub and amp within the next few weeks, which will most likely be the end of this build up i reckon. What do you guy's reckon about a standard 500CCA battery running 4amps, would it cope?http://forums.justcommodores.com.au...-reccomendations-sub-replacement-img_0020.jpg

Why have an amp to power the rears? just run them off the head-unit.
Otherwise yeah it'll power it fine, just make sure you dont crank it for too long with the car off ;)

The rears aren't keeping up with the fronts. Thier running of the head unit at the moment, probably faded around %70 or more, to the front, to avoid distortion coming through them. I'm basically only amplflying them to eliminate any distortion which i may get from them when it gets turned right up. They will only be getting 50RMS each, compared to the 125RMS each that the fronts are recieving, with the fader still set pretty much the same to the front. I'm hoping it will allow me to run my HPF a little lower, and gain a little extra midbass, up the front, without the rears distorting(which i'm pretty sure is due to lack of power input??) If i don't achieve what i'm after, i'll just bin the amp(i only paid $30 for it through Ebay.) and return to the current setup.

I have both fronts are rears amped on mine, and before I amped the rears they wouldn't keep up when it was cranked.
Yes it is faded to the front so that the rears just fill in the gaps in the sound stage, but even then it cleared up the sound a bunch amping them

Yeah they only begin to distort when it's turned right up (like permanent hearing loss damage levels)
Which isn't often, but on the rare occasion that i do turn it up to that level, i'd like them to play without distortion..
