hey does anyone no what size speakers go in a holden calibra 1995 modle my mate needs me to help him out choosing some speakers and i do not no the size of the frount and back speakers weather its 6 inches or 6half or 4 inches ? has some1 wired 1 before ?

ok so just the basics for me so far:

- Pioneer dvd unit, 7" motorized touch screen with full iPod control
- 12" JL Audio Sub
- Kicker Monoblock Amp
- 6" JL Audio Splits (front)
- Pioneer 6" speakers (rear)

just recently installed so still gotta iron out a few rattles in the rear from the sub. yet to install splits

I love your setup, I want my work car to look like that! xD

Just take them out (which your going to have to do anyway:whistling) and then you will know. It will also give you the chance to check out how much mounting depth ect, you have to play with..............

6" according to my housemate who's brother owns one. I think thats a credible source

ahh thx mate the reason i dident take them out is its for my mates car and he asked me how big they are
and i cood only look at them or ealse if it was my car i woodof taken them out but i said they are 6 inches anyways by looking at them thx lucky i was wright or ealse my mate woodof had the wrong size speakers cheers guys! :thumbsup:

Hey Guys,
Just about finished putting my stereo in ive got,
- 7" Jensen Single Din DVD player
- Earthquake VTEK 6.5" splits in the front
- Earthquake VTEK 6" in the back
- 5 Channel Earthquake 1800watt Xtreme Bass amp
- 12" Rockford Fosgate P2 Punch sub
Nothing to snazzy but im pretty pleased :thumbsup:

Cool Timy1990, what do you think of the Jensen unit?

I install a HEAP of these, and have had mixed responses in the past.....did you remember to change the tuning frequency to "Europe" instead of "Australia"?

amps: 2 800w optional audio
subs: 1 10" slimline kicker and 1 12" slimline kicker
the 10 is inbetween my seats and the 12 is in the long raing fuel tank spot

How does it go running two different size subs both playing/recieving?the same frequency? or is it something to do with changing the frequency tuning on the amps?
