I hear of 1 step forward, 2 backwards, but that is going to the extreme.....

That looks bloody painful

Hope it heals real soon and the pain subsides quickly....

Poor bugger...

It’s not a standard commodore hose. The edelbrock manifold sits in a different location to oem.
Just saying, I'm never going back to page 145 to look at those pictures again. Ouch.
That is way worse than the fire accident (cars are rebuildable, humans not so much)
Where were you standing in relation to it when it popped?
Obviously the bonnet isn't finished or fitted yet?
I think I'm using a diesel highlander hose as my top, although I think our outlet positions are slightly different than each other.

I wish you all the best for a speedy and minimal pain recovery.

Bonnet wasn't on yet, but yeah I was standing in front of it at the time, I could almost see it in slow motion.

That's a fine burn. Is that like a second skin coating on the second pic or inflammation?
What's the recovery time and infection possibility?

I’ve heard WB 308 might be the way to go. I can’t remember what one I was using it was one that I got loose from sca that looked like the right shape.

That’s a cooling gel mat that’s used to keep the burn cool before putting a dressing on.

The dressings I have to wear for a week are made of a high percentage of pure silver as silver aids with skin damage. apparently about $1000 every time I change it, thank god we don’t live in America, I’d be broke.

Recovery time is probably a few weeks, but to be honest at the moment in terms of pain it doesn’t feel much worse than a really bad sunburn which is good.

My last burns on that arm were between 3rd and 4th degree which was around 6 weeks with the similar sort of bandaging (that was around $20k a week worth of dressings).
