Is that all there is to it? Release the hosebat bottom, put into buckets, then flow water through the radiator, then once u see clea waterr cpming out, stop filling. Then fill it up with pure coolant right? And you do this al in the pure radiator right, not in the coolant thing...

Drop the bottom radiator hose off
Drain out whateva is in there
Put a garden hose in the bottom radiator hose and let it fill and flow out the top ( back flushing) until clear

Put radiator hoses back on
Fill with CORRECT coolant mixture not plain water or straight coolant
Bleed air out of system ( can be a pain sometimes)
Check the level after its cooled down after first run

To be honest if your new to cars and are insure how to change coolant then maybe a radiator shop or mechanic should do it , if all the air isn't bleed out it can cause headaches later on

bleeding the system is easy as :) keep a WATCH on level of coolant and temp .all you do is leave the radiator cap off and open the bleeder screw on top of the thermostat housing.

hold mode and Up buttons then start car release buttons.

then press mode button until you get to temperature.as soon as it hits 90 the thermostat opens and you will need to add coolant.

then put heaters on full and watch the temp drop, wait for it to get to 104 then as it's just about to go to 105 the thermo fans will kick in.

as soon as you see a stream of coolant from the bleeder, tighten the bleeder screw.put radiator cap back on and then only fill it via the plastic bottle.

How do you bleed the system>?

There a million posts on how to do this
1. Turn heater dial to full on
2. Place a coke bottle or similar in top of radiator to raise the coolant levels highest point
3. Loosen bleed screw on top of thermostat housing
4. Start filling bottle with coolant till it comes out of bleed screw ( DO NOT let coolant level drop into radiator or you need to start again
This is where it can get annoying
5. Start car and let car run while keeping a eye on coolant level in bottle
6. Close bleed screw for a few minutes then open abit to release air out while making sure coolant in bottle is still higher than radiator then close off again
7. Wait until thermostat opens and be ready for coolant to drop quickly when it does
8. When all air seems like it is out , pull bottle out and replace radiator cap , crack bleed screw open abit till coolant only comes out then close it off again
9. Quick lap around the block with heater on
10. Put car in park idling and gently crack bleed screw till coolant sprays out ( it will be bloody hot so be careful)
11. Let cool down overnight and check radiator level and overflow bottle level next morning and top up as needed

This is the way I do it and never have air left in system

Any video tutorials on this? Sounds more of a professional job, i thought it was as simple as removing the hose at bottom and release junk from inside, the running hose through radiator to clean the radiator, then release again, then filling up with engine coolant,

With the radiator cap looking like it does , the thermostat will need replacing aswell id say
I'd be taking it to be flushed and coolant replaced at a radiator joint , they have all the gear to power flush it out properly and then if any issues arise you can head back there to get them to sort it

It is easy to do but time consuming and if all the air isn't out it will throw the temp gauge into fits occasionally

Ring around for prices
