Vs branded off the shelf, something custom designed for your engine and driving is always going to be more satisfying.I ended up going a full system from manta, with 4-1 headers and 100cpi cats.
Nothing beats a full proper system!

Replacing mid muffler with x-pipe in the correct location is one of the best value mods you can do for this car.
If I'm not mistaken, you already have a X section just further up from the hotdogs.. so you'd want to have two X sections?
That's not an X-Pipe on your HSV - H-Pipe and X-Pipes are joined to allow flows from both banks to benefit from the exhaust pulses - They increase the speed/efficiency of the exhaust and gives a burbling sound.
