Funny Cuda I must have been on the SS forums searching rotofab vs OTR's at about the same time you were and reached the same conclusion, great raps in the US and it's a little different. Would you go oil or dry filter? I'm pretty sure I read a thread from rotofab recommending the oil one for the SS.

Apparently no tune required either, can wait until my dealer gets some rockers in...
Yeah lol.
I'll definately use the oiled one. I'm sold on the Rotofab. Looks ace too I reckon.

How with the fresh air behind the maf?? I'm curious.
The only piping behind my maf
Is the pvc intake, but that evacuates air not introduces??
See my edit above sorry. VCM fixed the issue a few years back.

One thing I did with the VS/VE having pods is I got spares.(VS is dry VE is oiled.)
Why u ask?
When I need to change one over I do it and if necessary can drive off into the sunset and clean the dirty one the next day.

I too bought a spare oiled filter when I bought my Rotofab for the exact same reason.

Yeah I've always been lead to believe oil filters mess with the maf/afm.

Rotofab CAI does look good but..

I've had oiled K&N filters on all my cars and never had any issues.

The Rotofab filters are lightly oiled. Been on since June/July and no issues so far.

Same here. When I cleaned and oiled my first panel one did light spray enough to colour it both sides all was good.
