Cleaned down the motor and box SUPER quickly... no time for cleaning, it's not going in to look pretty
(I must keep telling myself this so I don't get carried away and blow the time limit)
Finished relieving the T56 casing for the starter conversion, also enlarged the bottom air hole quite a bit. I will have to come up with a brilliant plan to block up the gap where the factory starter motor is meant to sit... can see straight in to the flywheel from the forward side and I'm not happy with that.
I fitted the motor and box together for possibly (hopefully) the final time this evening.
I find myself wondering why the CAE starter relocation kit only came with 6 bolts to hold the setup together when there are 8 holes from factory.... I figure an intelligently placed six will do fine until I get to a bolt shop and dig up another pair.
