Today is day 46 of not even so much as a puff of a smoke for me. My lungs feel fantastic already.

A bloke I use to work with said the same thing after quitting smoking. the poor fella always carried on about how fantastic he felt. apparently a tiny benign tumor in his lungs turned into a malignant tumor after 2 years or so of quitting.

Bloody damn if you do and damn if you don't!

I SMOKE......IT'S MY CHOICE!
The best thing i did was swap from winnie blues to 'roll your own'.
I dont wake up after a night on the turps with the birdcage mouth anymore.
Oh...i use filters also, they make a lot of difference.
Smoke of choice these days is winnie gold.
It costs me $35/wk to smoke, & i'm a chronic smoker. If i was still on the tailories it would be double that!

I've almost completely stopped smoking now not that I was ever addicted and I usually only smoked when with mates or when really stressed.

Me and my mates used always switch brands and usually when someone had a pack of something new everyone would buy a pack to give it a try.

Over the last two or so years I had

PJ full flavours
Winnie blues
dunhill blues
B&H smooth (I think)
Kent Futaras
Super Kings
There would have been tonnes of random brands thrown in that I can't remember but my favoutrite would have to be kent futaras or winnie blues winnies blues win out though cuz they are cheaper and you get more for your money then kents. Nuhin like a bundy and a winnie blue.

meh .. smoking may not seem to affect your athletic performance at the time, but putting all that smoke and chemicals into your body will take its toll over time, see who will outperform who 20 or 30 years later I'm sure lung cancer, emphysemia etc. re going to increase your performance right?

I've been on and off the ciggies for a while... longest I went without one was for 3 years... split up with the ex and everything went to **** lol I turned into a major pisshead and started smoking again lol.

... that was almost 2 years ago now and I still smoke but I'm not as alcoholic as I was :-D
