Vu series II commodore ute
Okay so I just picked up a new ss v8 cai and k&n air filter for a swift hundgy and I want to try and put it in my v6 vu ute, now just by placing it over the new one it looks like some of the piping to the radiator is going to be in the way. Just wondering if anyone has done this conversion before, to a vu or similar ute, if anyone has any tips and hints, and the overall difference it makes?
I apologize if this has already been asked.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Ive fitted the intake, had to make a few modifications as the mouth of the intake sat on the radiator cap, I just cut a hole in the intake mouth to fit around the cap and sealed it of with some bog application plastic things, glued them in and coated them in a heat resistant sicaflex stuff, to stop any air from escaping. Got a fair bit of extra power out of it, a lot more touchy at high revs, around 2.5 thousand revs and upwards: )

I can post some pictures if anyone is interested in seeing how I made it fit.
