Yeah, I understand the LED parkers as every spastic has coloured ones.

Never got an EPA letter so they were just talking ****.

Anyway, car has just clicked over 1 year old with me and I got my first speeding fine this morning. Letting other drivers piss me off again, passed them over the speed limit, cop with laser parked in side road, fine! Stupid! :bang:

Well, KPM confirmed their mufflers cause the noise we have with certain camshafts. Looks like I'm after new mufflers rather than a whole new exhaust.

KPM Motorsport on LS1 forums said:
We have heard of this happening with some cams and not others.
It seems to haves nothing to do with how good or bad the camshaft is but rather the frequency and air pulse that is creates.

Our 2.5 inch systems have the SLC compontentry in the rear mufflers.
The SLC mufflers work perfectly well to remove drone, without decreasing air speed and efficiancy on standard engines, KPM cams and most other cam grinds.
I believe that on ceratin cams the rear mufflers must play havoc with the exhaust flow and cause a flutter noise at idle.
We have never heard of any of our 3 inch systems having this same noise, as air flow is more than ample to handle air pulsation or frequency that any cam delivers.

yeah mate new mufflers , just not kpm slc , as mine are new and they dont think theres anything wrong with them .
dissapointing after spending so much money , there 3" mufflers are a different bolt pattern as i did mention trying them , but unless they changed the flange they wouldnt fit

Have my full KPM cat-back for sale so once that sells I'll be getting the Di Filippo 2.5" cat-back and hope it sounds alright.

You're in Hastings a lot these days, have you moved back?

No more mods for me other than new cat-back and thinking of making the GTS rims black but unsure. Don't really want to have genuine rims painted because they cost so much!

Do you know what sort of business I'd contact regarding wrapping wheels? I have no idea what to even search for in the Yellowpages!

COL3SY... Still undecided on the replacement cat-back but a Di Filippo is around $1,800 new. I think I might hold off on that until after Xmas unless my current cat-back sells for a good price before then.
