Wont help, says 6 speed, then says its a 5 speed?
No I was saying as far as I knew the V6 had a 5 speed and the V8 had a 6speed. I wasn’t aware that the Middle East version was different.

I have the M32 Transmission

Thats the designation for a 4 speed, the US/Arab Caprices were basically specced as police cars so they were very basic and didn't get any of the nice bits our caprice had.

Our caprices were Holden's flagship vehicle and had every option available and premium trim.

You have a 4 speed, hence you have a 4 speed shifter.

Holden wouldn't put a 4 speed shifter on a 5 and 6 speed transmission that makes no sense.

Very disappointed in why Holden made this call.

Very disappointed in why Holden made this call.

The 4 speed was the least of the dissapointments with the overseas model.

The aus model had premium full leather interior with 6 way electric seats, DVD players in the headrests, premium BOSE stereo etc, tyre pressure monitoring, 6 speed auto, auto levelling and auto cleaning HID headlights.

I had one a few years ago, loved it but needed a ute.

I'm pretty sure the export models got none of that, once again overseas it was designed to be a police/fleet car not a luxury car.
