Depends which car..... newer cars are just double sided tape to keep em on and getting old opens off might have glue.

Yeah Im talking about the new style VS+ badges with the double sided tape and the locator pins.

well if ya gonna debage it then put on newer one then it will cover the locating pins and should look fine, if you heat the badge up it will come off easier

Use a hair dryer mate, the best way to do it. Heat it up and they pretty much come off. Then use a polish to clean the area, not a wax and then leave sit for a week. Wash and wipe with water heaps during that time and ya ready to go... I did this with mine as the amount of **** that builds up in between the gaps on those holden badges made it look like ****...

Is That the same with VL Badges? Double sided tape? Or is it glue? With glue do you still heat them up to get it off?

I have the bonnet and boot lion badges here, they have two offset pins on each. Not sure about the Commodore badges, and I have seen some very dodgy 'Series...' badges, so I dont think they have pins.

the only ones that have pins are the lion emblem's.....the ecotec v6 and commodore and series 2 etc dont have them...nor does the HOLDEN though why you would want to take off the Lion's is beyond me

cleaner lines on the car... although the paint on my bonnet is just about shagged... so it doesnt really matter. im thinkin of debadging my ute... but i still want people to know that it is an S pack and not just a shitty base model lol
