re badge

Hey fellas im shore this has been covered before but i couldnt find anything... Is it possible to debadge my vr and replace them with vs badges? Do they fit straight on or will there need to be modifactions. If so would someone please explain the correct and easyest way to remove the badges?

I'm planning on changing to vs blinkers and getting some v6 ecotech bages to fit allso

My friend thought his motor was the Ecotech, because it had the ecotec badging on the underside of the side indicators, he was disappointed after I told him it was the buick V6.:bang:

i used a heat gun and fishing line.

make sure you dont keep the heat gun on the badge/paint too long, when it feels warm to touch (maybe a little more) put the fishing line behind the badge and use a sawing action to remove it. use your fingers to remove as much of the glue as possible (without burning your fingers like i did).

after that is done, get a soft rag and some eucalyptus oil to remove the excess glue. it wont damage the paint and will help clear a blocked use (handy with this being the hayfever season).

BEFORE YOU START make sure the badges do not have guide pins or you will have ugly holes that will need attending to...
