Been looking at more bits for the Ute, there is a guy on Facebook (Baz) that machines and rebuilds the L67 Snouts. They cost about $350 exchange plus postage.

I'm looking at getting the one on the far right side which has been rebuild and machined to suit a Snout Cooler.
Whats a Snout Cooler? It's a tube coiled around the snout which pumps water through it keep the snout at a cooler temp.
I'm still doing research on it but thought i would share the info in case anyone was interested in them at all.

VE Series I SS Ute
That last pic shows a very nice set up. Makes me realise there are some far better V6 utes out there than my old bus.... :)

that looks like an air to air intercooler. I didn't even know they existed for L67's

As far as i know there are 3 types of intercoolers you can go with for the L67
Air 2 Air
Water 2 Air
Water 2 Air hybrid
They all would roughly cost around $2000 finished plus a tune is needed once done.

The image at bottom show a Glimmer Belt (think that's what they are called lol) setup which has a 50mm belt, the kit costs $1750 from memory.

Thanks, yeah I looked into them previously and didn't see the air to air was available for the L67, just shitty research on my part LOL

Does running E85 stop the requirement of running any intercooler at all?

That seemed to me to be the easiest way to increase boost etc.. I don't mind paying a bit more and there's a local servo here that sells it etc.
My car isn't a daily,

It's just bigger injectors and a tune to suit..

MACE do a A2A kit but still needs all the piping and elbows

They are out of stock again but do get them in from time to time. It's the adaptor plate that they run out of... but they are showing as available again

Never use E85 so can't comment on it
