It certainly was true. I remember the episode well. As for finding it I would be the last person to ask.

Not being a Clarkson fan to me that was the best program they ever put out. Afterwards Clarkson tried to make out it was an innocent mistake. Only problem I had was he put everyone elses life at risk.

Top Gear wasn't the same without the Great Ape.

Clarkson went to a hotel somewhere in England and demanded a meal after hours. The chef had already gone home so he abused then punched someone else.

At that time it was the original program with the BBC. They sacked him and Hammond and May refused to carry the program on without him. However Clarkson was already in trouble over having made racist remarks and the Argentina incident.

To me the program did have some merit The pick of the bunch as far as I was concerned was Hammond. I thought Clarkson was an idiot and could never understand why May was there.

Loved Top Gear and then the specials that followed after they left the BBC. Love Clarkson's Farm too. I have to admit I am a Clarkson's fan, he speaks his mind and is not PC which is refreshing in a world where a child can identify as a cat at school and one lives in fear of upsetting someone constantly.

I do also like Captain Slow and Hammond. As Imm said above, it took a 3 with their different personalities etc. to make the shows.

Ever heard of evolution? If someone identifying as "a cat", or non binary transexual for that matter, cannot find a partner to spread their DNA to, the species will die out.
